Looking to restructure your PPC account? Restructuring may seem like a chore, but when done correctly, it can help achieve great results. Everyone seems to swear by their own methodology when it comes to account structures, and I'm no different. But before I go any further with my methodology, here are some quick results from some recent account rebuilds that have been very successful: * In both of these cases, rebuilds were allowed to run unobstructed for at least a 45-day post-launch window.Main generation account - Within 3 months post-restructuring:Conversions increased by 10%CPA decreased by 2%Conversion rate increased by 6%eComm/Lead Gen Account - Within 2 months post-restructuring:Turnover increased by 579%Cost reduced by 5%ROAS increased by 617%How were these results achieved?This is all great, but how do these performance increases come from simply restructuring an account? I've been involved in many account restructurings throughout my career and I'm happy to share some best practices I've learned along the way that will hopefully help you achieve results just as excellent.1. Understand your client's goalsBefore you begin restructuring, you need to understand what your client's desired end result is through their PPC program. For example, they might want a non-acquisition strategy focused on brand awareness and building, or an acquisition strategy designed to increase eComm sales or lead generation.
